The method involves utilizing a receiving signal fed into a signal path as an output signal of the path, which is digitized. A wanted signal of a radio transmitter is obtained based on demodulation of the digitized signal. A sub-band of the transmitter is determined. Signal portions of the transmitter in a receiving signal fed into another path is suppressed by a notch filter based on a characteristic variable of the sub-band. An output signal of the latter path is digitized. A wanted signal of another transmitter is obtained based on demodulation of the digitized signal of the latter path.
