The device has a cold-storage compartment comprising a drawer (10) and an air circulating region. An opening is formed in the drawer, and an adjustable controlling element (40) is operated between two positions and changes flow cross-section of the opening. The flow cross-section of the opening in one of the positions is larger than in the other position of the controlling element. The opening is formed such that air flows out of the drawer into the air circulating region when the controlling element is in the former position. The controlling element is designed as a slider.
