The grandstand (1) has variable sitting devices (2) for forming a stage with a stepping surface (3) and a sitting surface (4) in a non-use condition, where the sitting devices form a seat (5) with a backrest (6) in a use condition. Each of the sitting devices has two axes of rotation (7, 8), where the complete sitting device is rotated around one of the axes of rotation, and the seat, the backrest and the sitting surface are rotated around the other axis of rotation. The seat is formed as a body-contoured seat that is made of plastic or wood.
