The connector i.e. jack bush (10), has signal contacts supported within a housing (11). The signal contacts are electrically contacted with a stereo jack. A front surface of a shielding plate (12) lies against a contact field of a printed circuit board in an electrical conducting manner, where the plate is designed as a punching part. A press contact (26) is designed as a spring element (27) i.e. meander spring (28), and arranged at the front surface of the plate. The press contact lies against the contact field of the board within a front surface contour of the plate.
