The head has two electrodes e.g. counter electrode (7) and operating electrode (11) electrically insulated from each other by insulating rings (8, 10), where the head is limited at a front end by a tap-hole (14) and at a rear end by a disk-shaped end plate (1). A traction device is arranged between the tap-hole and the end plate. The traction device fixes the head in a longitudinal direction under tensile stress such that the electrodes and the insulating rings are pushed against each other. The end plate is formed by a disk, and transverse slots are provided in the disk. An independent claim is also included for a corrosion test sensor having a sensor head.
