The mill has a milling space seal between an agitating shaft and a milling space. The space is formed by a milling space housing, and a wear-resistant plastic-seal ring (13) is arranged around the agitating shaft. One of a counter surface or the seal ring rotates along with the shaft. Density of the seal ring lies in a range 1 to 3 gram per centimeter cube according to ASTM D 4894. Hardness of the seal ring lies between 45 to 85 according to DIN 53505, and break elongation of the ring lies between 120 to 260 according to ASTM D 4894.
