The bearing (1) has a guiding rod (4) immersed in a recess (2) in a longitudinal direction (L) to allow linear relative movement between a housing (3) and the rod, where the housing has races (5) for balls (6). The rod has races (8) for the balls at an outer circumference (7) of the rod. The races of the housing are formed by a race plate (9) that is fastened in the housing by fastening units (10). The plate is attached to an inner wall (12) of the housing in an area (11). The plate is provided at a distance (s) between 0.15 and 0.5 mm to the wall in another area (13) in a load-free condition.
