The transmission (14) has output shafts (28, 30) connected with input shafts (24, 26) by wheel sets that comprise sprocket wheels (42, 44) and fixed wheels (41, 43). One of the sprocket wheels is rotatably supported at the output shafts, and a damping element (50) is arranged between the sprocket wheel and one of the output shafts. The damping element is designed to absorb relative rotating movements between the sprocket wheel and the output shaft. The sprocket wheel and the output shaft are deformed against each other in an axial direction. An independent claim is also included for a method for reducing clicking noises in a double clutch transmission.
