The package has a display part (1) with a base (2), a front side wall (3), side walls (4) and a rear side wall (5). A cover part retrofits the part to a transport carton. The base enables arrangement of products at raised height for sales. A portion of products is placed on a support base i.e. tray, present in an exit position for transportation of the products. The support base is cooperated with a storage device, and supported in a display position at a distance from the base by the device that is brought to a raised position, where the distance is larger when compared to transport position. An independent claim is also included for a method for packing products for transporting and displaying the products for sales.
