The telescopic rail has rails (1,2,3). The latter rail is movably connected with the former rail over a ball cage, and is extracted from the rails telescopically in a direction of extraction. Another ball cage is arranged between the rails, which are firmly arranged in a front end area of the rail in direction of extraction. An independent claim is also included for a rack assembly with a front side and a rear side.
