The method involves determining two most recently recorded and consecutive images based on a comparison value that is estimated by localization of a medical instrument. An acquisition parameter for an inclusion of the following images is adjusted based on the comparison value. An X-ray-dose at a detector (9), a voltage at a radiation source (8), a frame rate at the detector, a zoom lens, a filter, a collimator and a local dependency of an X-ray radiation and energy of an X-ray pulse are adapted as recording parameters.
