The system has two delivery transport belts (4, 5) e.g. chains, which are arranged parallel to each other. One of the belts is extended opposite to another transport belt and is cranked in a horizontal direction. An inlet-side end section (11) of the former transport belt lies in a line with another inlet-side end section (12) of the latter belt. A distributor device (6) e.g. suction belt, transports articles in a suspending manner, and delivers the articles to the transport belts. A delivery position of the articles is defined by the distributor device and by the inlet-side end sections.
