The wheel has a rim (1) and a wheel disc (2) connected with each other by adhesive bonding. A gap (10) is provided between the rim and the wheel disc. The gap has a gap width in a range of 2 to 4 mm and filled with an adhesive (11). The gap is provided by a groove (12) surrounding the rim. The groove is covered by an outer edge section (7) of the wheel disc. The gap or the groove is formed by a wall thinning. The groove is supported during profiling of the rim that has a wall thickness of 1.2 to 1.6 mm in a region of adhesive bond with the wheel disc.
