The wheel has a rim (1) and a wheel disc (2) connected with each other by adhesive bonding. A gap (10) is provided between the rim and the wheel disc. The groove is covered by an outer edge section (7) of the wheel disc. The gap or the groove is formed by a wall thinning. The groove is supported during profiling of the rim that has a wall thickness of 1.2 to 1.6 mm in a region of adhesive bond with the wheel disc.
