Producing a material with adjustable biologically active gradient properties, comprises: either (i) introducing an easily soluble biologically available active component (A) in a carrier, where the easily soluble first component is converted into an insoluble component (C) with a reaction component (B) and (ii) providing a carrier to the reaction component; or (i) providing a carrier comprising a reaction component, which is converted into an insoluble component with an easily soluble active component and (ii) wrapping the carrier with the easily soluble biologically active component. An independent claim is also included for a material with adjustable biologically active gradient properties, where a carrier is provided, which exhibits an easily soluble biologically available active component and a reaction component, with which the easily-soluble component is converted into an insoluble component.
