The method involves marking a data packet with a flag bit positioned in the data packets. A constant size and constant data rate are fixed for other data packets. The data is inserted from former data packets into the latter data packets. The data of former data packets are arranged without gaps in one or multiple successive latter data packets. The gaps in the latter data packets are filled by filler data. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system for saving data from different sized data packets of data stream to be sent in encrypted, equal size other data packets of a transport data stream over a transmission channel; (2) a system for the extraction of unencrypted data packets of equal size associated to a received data stream, encrypted another data packets of a received transport data stream; (3) a digital storage medium with electronically readable control signals for executing the method; and (4) a computer program with program code unit.
