The pump has an active substance area receiving an active substance, and a propellant area receiving a propellant. A flexible separating element limits the substance area from the propellant. A throttle line (10) defines continuous withdrawal of amount of the substance. A valve is formed such that it is switched in a closed condition and an opened condition if pressure of the substance exceeds and falls below a counter-pressure around a preset value, respectively. The counter-pressure is a pressure of the propellant. An independent claim is also included for a control device for an infusion pump.
