The method involves producing clusters by a clustering method within selected regions and similar regions. The clusters are designated as background clusters, and characteristics of the selected regions, which are associated with the clusters, are combined to form common characteristic representatives of characteristics of the background clusters. Similarity of the regions of receivers to the characteristic representatives of the background clusters is determined. The similar regions are associated when the similarity of the background clusters lies above a threshold value or below the value.
