The device (1) has piston-like elements (4, 5) shiftably arranged relative to a cylinder-like element (2) along shifting direction (3). Two piston areas (7, 11) are provided in the area between the cylinder-like element and the piston-like elements and stay in fluid-connection with a fluid source. A throttle area (15) is formed by a blind-like element and provided between the fluid source and one of the piston areas such that high pressure is developed during pressure application in the other piston area than in the former piston area.
