The transmission (1) has a transmission oil pump (3) sucking transmission oil from an oil sump (5) of the transmission. The oil pump pumps the oil to lubricating points (10-12) of the transmission via hydraulic lines (8, 9, 15, 17) by a transmission oil cooler (16). A bypass valve (13) moves between an opening condition and a closing condition. A transmission oil path of the hydraulic lines is released in the opening condition, and is provided for by-passing the oil cooler. A temperature sensor detects temperature of the transmission oil at a given place.
