The exchanger i.e. condenser (100) has a holding console (160) for attachment of the exchanger at a predetermined location. The holding console has three arms, which extend against outer circumference surfaces of a cylindrical tank (150). Two of the arms are molded such that the arms surround more than half of the outer circumference surfaces of the cylindrical tank in a circumference direction. Portions of two of the arms contact the cylindrical tank and are fixedly connected with the cylindrical tank by soldering. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing the heat exchanger.
