The method comprises cleaning the gushing water from impurities such as incorporated materials and the reaction products, which are emerged by the reaction of the incorporated materials with hypochlorous acid, and then disinfecting, subjecting to a pH-value-regulation and supplied as pure water to a swimming pool (1). The remaining gushing water is released from the impurities by flotation, and is directly fed to a flotation unit. The gushing water is intermediately stored before flotation. Flocculants and/or flocculant aids are added to the gushing water before the flotation. The method comprises cleaning the gushing water from impurities such as incorporated materials and the reaction products, which are emerged by the reaction of the incorporated materials with hypochlorous acid, and then disinfecting, subjecting to a pH-value-regulation and supplied as pure water to a swimming pool (1). The remaining gushing water is released from the impurities by flotation, and is directly fed to a flotation unit. The gushing water is intermediately stored before flotation. A flocculant and/or flocculant aid is added to the gushing water before the flotation. The air conveyed for flotation is sucked-off by an injector (11) and is introduced together with pure water in a storage of the flotation unit, into which the contaminated gushing water is guided. The air bubbles are produced by depressurization, and have a diameter of 0.05-5 mm, diameter of 0.5-5 mm in fresh water and diameter of 0.05-0.8 mm in salt water. The exhaust air emerging during flotation is derived and is cooled with clean water by spraying. The water used for spraying is introduced into a water circuit before flotation. The resulting flotate is outwardly transported from the storage by several tubes through an opening (3a) in an outlet cover. The cleaned water is collected and is pumped back into the swimming pool. An independent claim is included for a device for processing gushing water of a swimming pool in a water circuit.
