The forest trailer has a hitch drawbar (1) for mounting at a tractor. A hydraulic system comprises a hydraulic pump (2) for generating pressure in the hydraulic system. The hydraulic pump is connected with a rotary shaft (3), which is driven by a drive journal of the tractor. The hydraulic pump is arranged in a hollow section (12) of the hitch drawbar. The rotary shaft is rotatable with respect to a longitudinal axis of the hitch drawbar and with respect to the hydraulic pump. Openings (4) are formed on the hitch drawbar for accessing the hydraulic pump.
