The device has a thread-selection logic (110) for selection of a command from set of commands, which correspond to threads, where partial selection of the command is based on whether another command is executed. The latter command is selected from the set of commands, where the set of commands consists of a thread-delay command. The latter command is determined such that a thread-blocking signal is asserted to control the thread-selection logic that selects the former command. The former command is partially selected based on microarchitecture-conditions. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system comprising a memory and a processor (2) a method for arranging threads.
