The machine has an area directly made from a hard-magnetic material through a thermal coating process and/or a spray-compacting process under usage of inert gas atmosphere. A rotor sheet (10') is coated with the hard-magnetic material and comprises opened casings (14) that are divided by rods (16). The rotor sheet has intermediate areas that are opened in a radial direction of the rotor sheet. The rods are formed as a single-piece with the rotor sheet and are designed in a magnetically conducting manner, where the casings are designed in a u-shape. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an electrical machine.
