Brake force controlling method for e.g. electrically operated motor vehicle, involves automatically influencing engine and transmission of motor vehicle based on target delay for changing drag moment acting at motor vehicle
The method involves determining target delay (SM) of a motor vehicle proposed by a driver, where the target delay is determined from brake pressure (p) in a hydraulic and/or pneumatic brake circuit and a pedal path at a brake pedal. An engine and/or a transmission of the motor vehicle is automatically influenced based on the target delay for changing a drag moment (AM) acting at the motor vehicle to achieve the target delay, where the target delay is opposite to instantaneous total brake torque (VM) of the motor vehicle.
