The arrangement (11) has a water outlet held at a base body (17) by a holding tube (15). The water outlet comprises a water outlet opening, and elongated electric lamps, which project from the opening in a uniform or a straight extension. The lamps are arranged parallel to each other and run approximately in the same direction. The lamps comprise light sources such as LEDs, arranged at distance to each other. An electric controller for the lamps is provided in the basic body. The lamps possess length of 30 cm to 100 cm. An electrical line for the lamps runs from the base body to the outlet. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a water outlet arrangement.
