The blade (12) has axial sealing surfaces (21, 22) comprising elevations e.g. sealing ribs and sealing beads, which are arranged between two radial end areas of the blade in a diagonal manner. The elevations run between the radial end areas in wave-shape or zigzag-shape. The elevations comprise circular or trapezoidal shaped cross sections tapering away from one of the axial sealing surfaces to the other axial sealing surface. The elevations are formed from a fluid plastic material. The blade is made of plastic material. An independent claim is also included for a vane pump i.e. vacuum pump, comprising a rotor.
