The structure has a contact piece connected with an electrode rod. A cylindrical body (26) carries the contact piece and the electrode rod, and an external thread is formed at an end of outer circumference. The contact piece, the electrode rod and the cylindrical body are integrated with each other by a fusion infiltration process. The contact-piece is made of copper, silver, chromium, tungsten, molybdenum or tantalum. A base part of an internal thread of the contact-piece is made of stainless steel. An independent claim is also included for a method for production of a contact structure of a vacuum valve.
