The device has an acoustic signal receiving device e.g. microphone, for receiving a special signal produced outside of a motor vehicle. An analysis device analyses the special signal, and a control device is coupled with the analysis device. An acoustic signal output device e.g. loudspeaker, provides the special signal to the motor vehicle interior and is controlled by the control device. The acoustic signal output device is integrated into a sound reproduction device i.e. central motor vehicle on-board information system. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a special signal transmission system comprising a radio transmission device (2) a method for transmission of a special signal into a motor vehicle interior.
