According to the invention, there is provided a block or graft copolymer consisting of a thermoplastic resin segment and an aliphatic polyester segment. The copolymer can provide a plant-derived resin composition by which the consumption of petroleum raw material is kept down because the copolymer can be used as a compatibilizer for a polylactide-comprising resin alloy.
