The element has a wire rope piece (1) by which an end of the element is accommodated in a clamping bush (3). The bush is tightened at a brush disk, and the wire rope piece is provided with a plastic layer (2). The wire rope piece possesses desired length (L) and is free from plastic over a length (B) of the clamping bush. A part of the rope piece is plunged into a dip with fluid plastic over the desired length of the rope piece by an adhesive agent i.e. Vyprime(RTM: Not defined). Complete length (X) of the piece ranges from 20 mm. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a brush element.
