Bonding light metal attachment to ferrous automobile bodywork component, by forming bond during bodywork formation phase and lacquering bonding region in subsequent lacquering phase
In a method for forming a bond between conductive regions of ferrous (alloy) bodywork component(s) and light metal (alloy) attached component(s) of an automobile, the bond is formed during a bodywork formation phase of automobile production and the obtained composite structure is lacquered in at least the bonding region during a subsequent lacquering phase. A method is claimed for forming a bond (specifically a shape-fitted, force-fitted or material bond) between at least one bodywork component and at least one attached component of an automobile, where (a) the bonding region is electrically conductive, (b) the bonding region of the bodywork component is of iron or ferrous alloy, (c) the bonding region of the attached component is of light metal or its alloy, (d) the bond is formed during a bodywork formation phase of automobile production and (e) the obtained composite structure is lacquered in at least the bonding region during a subsequent lacquering phase.
