Active ingredient bag, preferably anti-moth bag (1), comprises a gas-permeable bag wall (3) and a carrier material (4), which is provided with an active ingredient composition having at least one active ingredient dissolved in a solvent, preferably soaked or impregnated. The active ingredient composition further comprises at least one solvatochromic dye dissolved in the solvent. The dye shows a color change depending on the evaporation amount of the at least one active substance and/or the solvent and/or at least at least one further additive dissolved in the solvent. Independent claims are also included for: (1) the active ingredient composition used in the active ingredient bag, preferably anti-moth bag; and (2) evaporating the active ingredient composition by using the active ingredient bag.
