The pad (60) has a bearing surface (62) at a front side and another bearing surface on a back side. The former bearing surfaces attached to a brake disk (20) in installed condition. One of the two bearing surfaces includes two areas (34, 33) that are arranged next to each other between a left and right lateral edge and formed in a lower area in a gradated manner, so that one area (34) ends in a larger distance from the lower lateral edge than the other area. An absorption plate (19) is arranged at a carrier plate (18) and assigned to a brake caliper (24) in installed condition.
