The luminous body has an illuminant (1) in connection with a partially light dispersing body such as a diffuser (2). The direct light beam fraction of the solid angle area (omega1) of the illuminant and the dispersed indirect light beam fraction of the solid angle area (omega2) of the diffuser overlap and together build a spatial light structure. The diffuser carries two light-dispersion surfaces (3) and is made of a light-conducting material.
