The method involves transmitting a transmission data from a source node (Node A) to a proxy node (Node B) and other destination nodes (Node C,Node D) through a transmission medium (104). A confirmation data is selectively transmitted to the other nodes based on whether the reception data is correctly received at the proxy node. A negative acknowledgement indicating that one of the other nodes failed to correctly receive the transmission data is selectively transmitted, by determining whether the confirmation data is received at one of the other nodes.
