The aid has a pair of assembly aid elements (3.2, 4.2) provided in a component (3) i.e. headlight mounting, and another component (4) i.e. front end carrier, of a vehicle respectively. The assembly aid elements correspond to each other. The assembly aid elements position the components to each other and are connectable with one another in an end position in a form-fit, force-fit and/or firmly bonded manner, where the aid elements are durable in the end position. The assembly aid elements form a locking connection in a connected state.
