The arrangement (30) has a compensation carrier (32) extending between rear wheel housings (18) in a transverse direction of a vehicle. The compensation carrier has two arms (34) running in a vertical direction of the vehicle, where the arms are attached to an inner side of the corresponding wheel housing. The arms are connected with a lower transverse carrier area (38) by nodal elements (36), where the nodal elements are formed as die-casting components and made of light metal base alloy i.e. magnesium base alloy.
