The assembly has a central slide (40) anchoring a fixation device on a ski (11), where the slide cooperates with anchoring elements of the device. The device has a base (26) and a shoe locking mechanism (14), where the mechanism has a mobile unit (16) controlled by a lever system (17) that is operated between closed and open positions. The anchoring elements include a front rail element (50), a central rail element and a rear rail element, which lock and vertically guide the device on the ski. The mechanism has a mobile jaw (18) whose displacement is controlled by the system (17).
