Composition for cosmetic treatment of keratin materials, preferably human keratin fibers such as hair, comprises, in a medium: one or more cationic polymers obtained by polymerization of a mixture of monomers comprising one or more vinyl monomers substituted by amino groups, one or more hydrophobic non-ionic vinyl monomers and one or more associative vinyl monomers; and one or more quaternary diammonium cationic polymers comprising repeating units. Provided that if A 1is alkylene or hydroxyalkylene, and then B 1is (CH 2) n-CO-D 1-OC-(CH 2) n-. An independent claim is included for a process for treating keratin material comprising applying the composition on keratin material and then rinsing after an exposure time.
