Copper-aluminum-nickel-iron alloy (I) comprises aluminum (3.8-4.4 mass%), nickel (4.2-5 mass%), iron (1.7-2.1 mass%) and additives comprising silicon (less than 0.8), manganese (less than 0.15), chromium (less than 0.3 wt.%) and titanium (less than 0.1 mass%), where all other chemical elements are present at less than 1 mass%, each element is present at less than 0.05 mass%, and the rest is constituted of copper. Independent claims are included for: (1) a probe for measuring at least a physical parameter comprising temperature, pressure, flow, speed and bearing, comprising at least a element of (I); and (2) a process for producing an element of (I), comprising implementing a foundry treatment or sintering treatment.
