An intermediate receptacle (1) e.g. stacking hopper, receives a measured quantity of the food products, and a control unit (8) e.g. frequency regulator, controls a transferring flow of a product in a food product transporting conduit for ensuring delivery of the measured quantity of the food product in the intermediate receptacle through the transporting conduit.
