The machine (14) has a support (12) located above guides (4). A chassis, entire part of the machine, and a traction pulley (8) are located below an upper crosspiece and between the guides for moving the lift machine close to an upper point of a sheath. An S-shaped bracket (5) has vertical brackets sliding along the guides. The bracket permits extension of the machine and reaches an end of the guides. The bracket circulates a counterweight (10) between the posts.
