The installation (1) has a processing unit (11) comprising a storage units for storing a component to be deposited on a meal tray (2) at deposit stations (P2-P6). A determination unit determines whether the component partially or non-partially makes lists of components to be deposited on the tray in front of the stations. A command providing unit sends a command to an assistance system i.e. display screen (12), to deposit the component on the tray when the component partially makes the lists of components to be deposited on the tray in front of the stations.
