The device has a fixed jaw (19) with an element (20) that is projected in direction from a movable jaw (16) and extended along an axis parallel to a longitudinal axis. The jaws are movable with respect to each other between rest position and compact position. The jaws are spaced from each other for permitting to place waste (24) in a support cradle (18) in the rest position. The jaws are brought closer to each other, so that the element generates a crimp penetrating on the waste in the compacting position.
