The device (1) has two fixed guiding rails (4) fixed to a rear part of a body of a motor vehicle (12), where the rails are vertical and parallel with respect to each other. A shutter (2) and the rails are dimensioned in a manner that an operator pulls the shutter towards an exterior of the vehicle by imparting a translational movement along the rails accompanied by a simultaneous rotary movement, such that the shutter is moved from an initial vertical position to a final horizontal position. An upper part of the shutter is moved in a horizontal plane.
