Independent claims are included for: (1) a seed of Erucagenus, which carries cytoplasmic male sterility; (2) a cell of a plant of Erucagenus, which carries cytoplasmic male sterility; (3) a process for obtaining the plant or the seed comprising intergeneric crossing of a plant Brassica rapawith a carrier of a cytoplasmic male sterility, as female parent, and a male fertile plant Eruca sativa, as male parent, first obtaining a plant obtained by prior crossing by embryo rescue; crossing a plant obtained from the obtaining step, as female parent, with male fertile plant Eruca sativa, as male parent, second obtaining a plant obtained by crossing step, optionally by embryo rescue, where the crossing steps and second obtaining step are repeated until the obtention of the plant or seed of Eruca sativaspecies, carrying the cytoplasmic male sterility; and (4) the plant of the Eruca sativagenus obtained by the process.
