The crankcase has a drum (16) with cylindrical wall, in which a piston slides in the drum. The wall includes networks (R1, R2) of curvilinear striations (C1, C2) extending symmetrically with respect to surfaces of the wall between a bottom dead point zone (PMB) of a piston and a top dead point zone (PMH) of piston. Inclination angle (alpha) of the striations with surfaces continuously increases from the zone (PMB) to the zone (PMH). The angle varies from a low value (alphab) of zero in the bottom dead point zone to a high value (alphah) equal to 90 degree in the top dead point zone. An independent claim is also included for a method for forming a casing of heat engine.
