The device has a sprayer (18) of an air intake line (4) for spraying cooling liquid on a heat exchange surface (10), where the sprayer is supplied with condensates produced by an air conditioning group (12). The air intake line includes a charge air cooler (8) for cooling the charge air from the surface. A closed reserve i.e. retention tank, is filled with the condensates produced by the air-conditioning group, where the reserve supplies the sprayer. An electric pump (15) pushes the condensates towards the sprayer.
