The device (100) has a centralized database (10) for storing a set of electronic pages, where each of the pages is classified along a series of successive stages. A display unit e.g. touch screen (2), displays the pages. A movement sensor (4) permits contact less detection of movement of the user close to the device. A control unit controls the display unit such that the display unit replaces display of corresponding page at current stage with a display of corresponding page at following or previous stage to the current stage when the user performs movement close to the device.
